I read recently that the famous London Stone is moving into the Museum of London for a few months as part of an exhibition. I was fortunate enough to film the London Stone a few years ago in Cannon Street, just along form St Paul’s Cathedral where folk law suggests a great stone circle once stood. Paul Martin from Flog It was presenting a series Pilot I was producing. The London Stone sat inside a box that internally looked like a giant microwave, externally however it sat behind a Victorian metal grille. Certainly the first St Paul’s was destroyed by fire in 650AD according to the Venerable Bede by Pagan’s whose stronghold was Harrow on the Hill and folk law further predicts that London will fall if the stone is ever removed from London!
